Intel has unleashed its new 8th generation of Core i7 and i9 chips aimed at laptops which may not seem like quite the big deal until you take a moment to discover the massive power behind them, allowing gaming laptops to deliver desktop-level performance more than ever before. Despite the monstrous power, the new chips also allow for machines that are lightweight but pack tremendous power.

Engadget recently took a look at one of the gaming laptops using Intel’s new chips, and it just so happened to be the ORIGIN PC EVO15-S Ultra Thin Gaming Laptop. The latest generation of our critically acclaimed PC packs NVIDIA GTX 1070 Max-Q graphics, up to 32GB of RAM, and Intel’s six-core i7-8750H processor into a package weighing less than five pounds while also being just one inch thick. Even with its small size, the laptop can be customized with a crisp 1080p display or a stunning 4K display for the ultimate visual experience when playing richly detailed games like Assassin’s Creed Origins.
